Jennifer Pataki is a recent graduate of the University of Guelph where she majored in Theatre Studies. Throughout her undergrad, she took many courses on food and food issues and gained a new found interest in food politics. She is currently a member of Fair Trade Guelph which advocates the benefits of purchasing fair trade food. In her spare time she likes to read, blog, hangout with friends and go on adventures. She is excited to be a part of The Straw Hat and contribute to the journal, as well as learn from other writers and meet people who are passionate about food and agriculture.
